Description

Eucryphia cordifolia is an evergreen tree that is easily recognized by its abundant, white, five-petal flowers that bloom in late spring. The leaves are dark green on the upper side and paler beneath, with a simple, elliptical to ovate shape and finely serrated edges. Ulmo thrives in humid, temperate rainforests and is a key nectar source for bees, producing one of Chile’s most prized honeys. Its fragrant blooms and dense foliage make it an important component of native forest ecosystems.
